Catering, Ingredients & the Songhees Centre

At the Songhees Food Truck, you will find nothing but the best ingredients. Along with their fresh fish, they also grow their own salad greens at the rooftop garden at the Songhees Wellness Centre, which is located on the traditional territories of the Lək̓ʷəŋən people. This centre offers 13,000 sq. ft. of event space and is also where the Songhees Food Truck does all of their prep work. The Songhees Food Truck also does catering for events and or small intimate gatherings. Additionally, they offer delivery box food for your convenience.

Farmers’ Markets and On-Site Saturday Market

Be sure to keep your eyes open for the Songhees Food Truck, which visits both the Esquimalt Farmers’ Market on 1200 Esquimalt Rd, every Thursday 4:30-7:30pm, April 1-Sept 16 and the Moss Street Market on 1330 Fairfield Rd, May-Oct Saturdays 10am to 2pm and Nov-Apr 10am-1pm. The Songhees Food Truck is also working on a market of their own, at their 1502 Admirals Road location for upcoming Saturdays; where you can purchase their menu dishes, along with a bottle of their house salad dressing, their signature Bannock bites - sweet and salty, which change in flavour every time (a family recipe) and more. Be sure to check @songheesevents to be updated on the Songhees Food Truck market events!

Future Plans

In the near future, the Songhees Food Truck hopes to expand their outdoor space in Vic West (their current permanent location) with more outdoor sitting and tables, plants and a new art mural to be fashioned around the space. If you hope to enjoy the delicious dishes at the Songhees Food Truck come winter, the outside area will be adding space heaters, making for year-round enjoyment. There are also plans, in the works, to open up a second truck location along the Causeway.

The Songhees Food Truck’s permanent location is on Admirals Road
